Welcome to our challenge, firstly the team and myself would like to say thank you for all your gorgeous inspiration in challenge 190, and also your lovely comments, we do so love hearing from you.
I would like to say an enormous thank you to all of you who have left "Lockdown" comments, it is good to see that we are all sharing these troubled times with good heart.
Another chance to win
So I am going to offer another prize of some unbranded stamps & dies,
again open to everyone wherever you are in the world.
This time leave a comment about something that has inspired you during lockdown, for me there are 2 things that spring to mind, firstly and most importantly is
Captain Tom
What an amazing man, and a well deserved Knighthood
The other thing I have been inspired by is
Grayson's Art Club
Grayson & Philippa Perry
Now I know his art is not to everyones tase, but oh boy has this guy and his lovely wife Pippa got talent. I was lucky enough to go to an exhibition of his work a couple of years ago, and he is in my humble opinion a true artist, he carves every stamp that he uses to impress into his pottery, he makes everything from the ground up as it were, unlike some other artists who just get someone to make the bronze tree branch or the neon sign and then say "this is my art"
That have both been leading the UK in an art therapy art club, and I am so impressed with the talent of the people who have taken up art during this terrible time, if you can get All 4 it is well worth your time
The winner of the prize (chosen by Random generator) is
Cass

As my husband and I are both considered to be in the upper age bracket, we are coping OK, still able to go to shops, doctors etc. But, what we are both missing is the interaction we have with strangers when out walking with our little dog. All we get nowadays is a nod.
Please email me alexcturner09@yahoo.co.uk, with your postal address and I will pop your prize in the post

ReplyDeleteThank you for another challenge and beautiful inspiration by your team! Congrats to the winners and picks from last challenge! You've shared another beautiful blog post about the lockdown, thank you! I've been inspired by so many people who have continued working while many businesses had to close. The essential workers closest to my heart are the grocery store employees as this is about the only public place I've ventured out to visit over the past couple months of isolation. Thank you to our unsung heroes, the grocery store employees! Also a big thank you to all essential workers who are risking their lives to keep things going for the rest of us! You are definitely heroes!
ReplyDeleteWonderful DT creations! Hope to see some of you in the Facebook Group <3

What has inspired me during Covid and lockdown is how some people are resilient and learn how to pivot their businesses and finances. I have a friend who lost her job and used it as an opportunity to start a new crafty business... her name is Courtney Kreeber. Check out Create and Inkspire, a new online magazine that launched today and a monthly subscription kit starting in July. I also appreciated the local restaurants that became temporary grocery stores when they had to keep their dining rooms closed.
ReplyDeletethank you for choosing my card as a DT Favorite! All of the projects were fabulous!
